In June 2026, the Charley Rose Trio embarks on a Canadian journey through vast plains, summer festivals, and several well-chosen time zones. Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, Quebec City, Toronto: six stops, many kilometers, and the promise of a Dada Pulp Tour in wide-open spaces.
Routing at a glance
Atlantic Bridge:
Departure on June 17th to Montreal, then connecting to another flight (see below) to Winnipeg. Our first date is June 18th, and our return to Europe will be on June 29th from Toronto!

Prairies Mode:

June 17 — Paris → Montreal → Winnipeg. The trio sets foot in Canada, heading to Manitoba. The tour begins with a direct immersion in Western Canada.
June 18 — Winnipeg. Concert at the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival, Old Market Square / Cube Stage. First Canadian set, including Prairie tunes.
June 19 — Winnipeg → Edmonton. Heading west by plane to reach Alberta and prepare for the next leg at the Yardbird Suite, a legendary club.
June 20 — Edmonton. Concert at the TD Edmonton International Jazz Festival, in the intimate setting of the Yardbird Suite. Club atmosphere, intense energy, a band on the alert and on a mission.
June 21 — Edmonton → Calgary. Bus trip across Alberta. Three musicians, luggage, kilometers, and probably a few landscapes passing by like a long tracking shot.
June 22 — Calgary. Concert at the JazzYYC Summer Jazz Festival. After Edmonton, it's on to Calgary: another city, another venue, same trio in exploration mode, after two concerts, the confidence is there and we let loose a little more.
June 23 — Calgary → Ottawa. Big leap to Eastern Canada. Change of scale, change of time zone, and arrival in the capital.

June 24 — Ottawa. Double day: workshop in the morning, concert in the evening at the National Arts Centre / Fourth Stage as part of the Ottawa Jazz Festival.
June 25 — Ottawa → Quebec City. Travel by train to Quebec City. We leave Ontario to reach the river, familiar accents, and a new Francophone stage.
June 27 — Quebec City. Two sets at the Quebec Jazz Festival in June, before heading to the airport for Toronto. A tightly scheduled day, but tailor-made for touring: play, pack up, leave, repeat.
June 28 — Toronto. Last Canadian stop at the Toronto Jazz Festival. The trio concludes their journey in one of the country's major musical capitals.
June 29 — Toronto → Paris. Back to France, probably with a few less hours of sleep and a lot more images.
The journey, postcard version

The tour traces a diagonal path from west to east: the Prairies of Winnipeg, Alberta with Edmonton and Calgary, then Ontario and Quebec before the finale in Toronto. Basically: jazz, asphalt, airport runways, trains, and a healthy dose of Canada between each concert. One day off, one concert, the good life...
Dada Pulp on the road
Charley Rose on tenor saxophone and effects, Enzo Carniel on piano and MS20, and Ariel Tessier on drums: the trio transports its universe between acoustic, electronic, club energy, and festival formats. The idea is simple: to take the album Dada Pulp on the road, but also to allow themselves to be transformed by places and distances, hoping to forge strong connections with our cousins across the pond!
A tour is a bit like a parallel score: the concerts are the notes, the journeys are the silences, and everything in between becomes the hidden music of the trip.
